The YMCA of Greater Richmond seeks an Experience Delivery Director at the Downtown YMCA to lead daily branch operations, elevate member experiences, and oversee program areas such as aquatics, membership, wellness, and sports.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; college coursework or degree preferred.
• Minimum of three years of leadership experience required.
• Excellent communication and computer skills required.

Responsibilities

• Represent the Y in the community by building relationships with members, staff, and stakeholders.
• Promote access and inclusion by creating a welcoming environment for diverse populations.
• Oversee branch operations during shifts, ensuring efficient team and member experiences.
• Support program areas (aquatics, membership, wellness, family programs, and sports) delivering high-quality service.
• Hire, train, supervise, and evaluate staff within departments.
• Maintain branch cleanliness and safety standards.
• Support membership and program initiatives including retention and registration.
• Serve as Executive Director during their absence and collaborate across teams.
