Job summary
The Plaistow YMCA is hiring a Member Engagement Director to lead membership growth, engagement strategies, and exceptional member experiences across our community. You will champion welcoming environments, supervise frontline staff, and collaborate with partners to advance healthy living, youth development, and social responsibility.

Qualifications
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Experience in membership management, recruitment, and retention.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- Proficient in membership software systems and data management.
- Analytical mindset to interpret data and drive decisions.
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or related field (preferred).
- Valid driver's license or reliable transportation.
- Bi-lingual and multi-lingual candidates preferred.
Responsibilities
- Lead the Welcome Center team to deliver outstanding service.
- Develop and implement member engagement strategies to boost retention.
- Build relationships with members, families, staff, and partners.
- Plan and support member events and engagement opportunities.
- Collaborate with leadership to drive growth and community impact.
