Job summary

Westby Co-op Credit Union is seeking a Member Service Representative to serve as the primary contact for member requests related to daily financial needs. You will perform deposits, withdrawals, check handling, and educate members on products, fees, and policies in line with WCCU procedures.

This role reports to the Branch Manager. You will balance cash, process transactions, maintain confidentiality, and provide friendly, accurate service while staying up to date on regulations and services.

Qualifications

• Previous financial and cash handling experience desired.
• Financial post-secondary education preferred.
• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations accurately.
• Ability to work with a wide range of personalities professionally.

Responsibilities

• Follow the WCCU Way and Values; greet and assist members with a friendly attitude.
• Handle deposits, withdrawals, payments, and negotiable instruments per procedures.
• Balance cash, process check negotiations, and maintain confidentiality.
• Educate members on products, services, fees and policies.
• Enter transactions into computer systems and maintain member records.
• Provide exceptional service and assist with wire requests and fraud situations.
• Maintain knowledge of products, services, and regulations; support team.
• Support Mobile Branch as needed and comply with safety practices.
