Job summary

YMCA of Frederick County in Frederick, MD is seeking an Entry level Health and Wellness Attendant for a part-time role. You will greet members, assist with health and wellness center operations, and promote member engagement.

Responsibilities include fitness orientations, maintaining equipment, safety, incident reporting, and supporting member recruitment. Weekend availability is required; occasional substitutions and staff meetings are included.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Overall understanding of the fitness area.
• Flexible to work at Frederick and Natelli locations.

Responsibilities

• Conduct fitness orientations on cardio and strength equipment.
• Maintain safety and cleanliness of the Health & Wellness Center.
• Complete incident and accident reports when necessary.
• Coordinate monthly shift assignments and weekend/holiday coverage.
• Support member recruitment and program promotions.
• Attend staff meetings as scheduled.
