Job summary

Retro Fitness is seeking a Member Experience Associate to create an honest, simple and welcoming atmosphere for members. You will ensure high-quality service and facilities, while supporting the gym’s friendly culture.

Key duties include greeting members, selling memberships and merchandise, and maintaining a safe, clean health club environment. Prior experience in sales or hospitality is helpful, CPR/AED certification is preferred, and uniforms and appearance are emphasized.

The Member Experience Associate will ensure that members receive the highest quality of service and facilities, as well as deliver an authentic and welcoming atmosphere.

Job Expectations:

• Work your scheduled shifts and arrive on time every shift


• Arrive for your shift in full uniform: brand approved shirt, khaki or black athletic pants, and sneakers (be well groomed, neat, and presentable)


• Aim to exceed customer expectations at every opportunity


• Make eye contact with customers


• Smile authentically at customers


• Speak enthusiastically to customers


• Be attentive and courteous to customers


• Keep a sense of urgency and hustle when it comes to helping customers


• Keep a positive, upbeat personality.


• Be able to communicate clearly, professionally, and proactively when needed.
