Job summary

GBH in Boston is seeking a Member Development Representative for Audience and Member Services. You will respond to audience and member questions via phone, email, web chat, and SMS, generate donations through exceptional service, and educate callers on GBH benefits and mission.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, 1–2 years in sales or customer service, and strong knowledge of CRM tools. This is a hybrid, on-site position at 1 Guest Street, Boston, MA.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
• 1–2 years in sales, retail, fundraising, or customer service.
• Knowledge of call center technologies is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a point of contact for GBH Members and constituents.
• Support GBH constituency via phone, email, text, and chat support.
• Develop efficiencies using CRM products to record and facilitate all constituent interactions.
• Have a complete understanding of the case coding process - accurately record all member and non-member activity in RevCRM Database.
• Reference internal training-based documents to better support constituents.
• Participate in weekly AMS discussions about process and communication.
• Develop and maintain a broad knowledge of GBH programming, events, services, and benefits to be a subject matter expert.
• Work directly with constituents regarding critical issues and respond.
