Job summary

The Michigan Recycling Coalition is seeking a proactive Member Coordinator to support communications, member services, and program coordination from its Lansing, MI office. You will curate newsletters, manage social media, update the website, and promote events, while coordinating a plastic film recycling program with external partners.

Qualifications

• Administrative experience preferred.
• Experience with Google Workspace and social media management.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Attract and confirm new members and communicate with members and allies.
• Curate, optimize, and monitor social media across campaigns.
• Support conference and event planning, logistics, and delivery.
• Maintain organizational website updates and maintenance.
• Coordinate and promote the plastic film recycling program with partners.
• Travel to events within Michigan and beyond as needed.
• Coordinate and maintain digital records and reports.
