Job summary

Children's Healing Center in Michigan is seeking a part-time Membership and Outreach Coordinator to grow member families, plan developmentally appropriate programs for kids and parents, and build strong community partnerships in Grand Rapids and nearby areas.

You will lead volunteers, manage communications, attend community events, and assist with center operations as needed. Strong written and verbal skills, outreach experience, and flexibility for evenings/weekends are essential.

Qualifications

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; connect authentically with diverse audiences.
• Experience engaging children, adolescents and families.
• Comfortable networking and representing the organization at community events.
• Self-motivated with initiative; manage multiple priorities and grow member engagement.
• Able to stay calm and manage Center operations during emergencies.
• Proficient with MS Office 365 and related software (CRM, Word, Excel, SharePoint, Constant Contact).
• Willingness to work nontraditional hours, including at least one evening per week and two weekends per month.

Responsibilities

• Grow prospect and current members; recruit and retain families with Membership Manager.
• Plan and execute developmentally appropriate programs for kids and parents; adjust by age/size.
• Lead volunteers to execute programs and maintain a safe environment.
• Cultivate community and referral partners; seek partnerships and attend events.
• Cover other duties to operate the Center; engage family and community networks.
