Job summary

OnPath Credit Union in Metairie, LA, is seeking a Consumer Loan Processor to join our on-site team. The role focuses on building relationships with members, offering personalized financial solutions, and supporting loan processing from start to finish.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of loan policies and products and services.
• Prior loan processing experience preferred.
• Accuracy in the recording of daily transactions.
• Procedural knowledge of interviewing skills and techniques.

Responsibilities

• Has thorough knowledge of the documents required for each loan and has the skill to obtain the required information in a friendly and efficient manner.
• Files loan documents, reviews loan documents for completeness, and prepares loan documents for imaging.
• Is responsible for maintaining the supplies and promotional materials in the loan department.
• Assist in audits, compliance reviews, and reporting requirements.
• Communicate with loan officers, underwriters, and applicants to resolve discrepancies or missing information.
