Job summary

BECU in Tacoma is hiring a Member Consultant II to deliver a seamless member experience and sales excellence across consumer lending, deposits, and fiduciary services. You will rotate across pod branches, assist with financial wellness programs, and help members meet their goals.

You will sign documents, handle inquiries, and coordinate with teams during training and branch assignments, with travel between Lakewood, Tacoma Narrows, and University Place as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent related experience.
• Minimum two years of experience in a sales-oriented, financial, or retail environment.
• One year of experience in a financial institution is desirable.
• Spanish language fluency is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service and sales using product knowledge.
• Sign all line and loan documents originated through the call center.
• Assist the community with financial wellness and budgeting education.
• Support with financial planning resources as needed.
