Job summary

Recess Fitness Club in Dallas, TX is seeking a Front Desk Fitness Representative to be the welcoming face of the club and deliver outstanding member service.

As the first and last impression for members, you’ll create a friendly, organized, and positive atmosphere, handle check-ins, answer questions, and help with membership and retail inquiries. Flexibility for morning/evening/weekend shifts is required, and prior front desk or customer service is a plus.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 1 year or less of customer service/front desk experience preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Be the first and last impression for members, delivering outstanding customer service.
• Maintain a welcoming, clean, and organized front desk area.
• Assist with membership inquiries, retail sales, and check-ins.

Front Desk Fitness Representative

As a Front Desk Fitness Representative, you'll be the first and last impression our members have each day. Your role is essential in creating a welcoming atmosphere, delivering outstanding customer service, and helping every member feel at home.

Available Shifts

We are hiring team members with availability for a variety of shifts.

Monday - Friday

• 4:30 AM - 10:30 AM
• 10:30 AM - 4:30 PM
• 4:30 PM - 11:30 PM

Weekends

• 6:30 AM - 12:00 PM
• 12:00 PM - 7:30 PM

Availability Requirements

• Minimum of 3 shifts/15hrs per week
• Flexibility to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 6-12 months of customer service or front desk experience preferred
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent multitasking and organizational skills
• Basic computer proficiency
• Basic knowledge of gym equipment
• Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
• Ability to stand for extended periods
• Ability to lift up to 45 pounds
• Professional, clean, and polished appearance

Preferred Experience (Bonus)

• Previous fitness club or gym front desk experience
• Membership or retail sales experience
• Hospitality or customer service background
