Job summary

Scott Credit Union in Columbia, IL is seeking a Financial Service Representative to serve members at the Columbia Branch. You will greet visitors, answer questions, open accounts, process deposits and loans, and promote SCU products with a member-first approach.

The role emphasizes high-quality service, teamwork, and adherence to regulations. A minimum of one year of customer service and a high school diploma are required. This is a full-time, on-site position with a schedule including Saturdays.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum one year of customer service experience required.
• Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Greet members and assist with inquiries in person, by phone, or via outbound calls.
• Educate members on SCU products and services and promote cross-sell opportunities.
• Open and close accounts, process deposits and withdrawals, and assist with teller duties as needed.
• Process loan applications, balance teller terminal, and remit daily work to supervisor.
• Perform OFAC screening and ensure CTR/SAR reporting compliance.
• Provide prompt, professional member service and resolve concerns to satisfaction.
