Job summary

Broadview FCU is seeking a Relationship Banker to join our Cohoes Branch and support the Capital Central Region. You will engage with members, review financial profiles, and recommend solutions to meet financial goals, while growing a profitable book of business.

You will promote services, build relationships, and participate in coaching and training to elevate performance in a dynamic banking environment. Bilingual skills encouraged, attractive benefits offered.

Qualifications

• Associate degree preferred or combination of education and experience.
• 1–2 years of branch banking experience.
• Notary Public License and Signature Guarantee permissions (to be passed and maintained within 6 months of training).
• Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Ability to multi-task to meet or exceed performance standards.
• Effective verbal, written and listening communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Flexibility to work out of any location as business needs dictate.

Responsibilities

• Advocate for members and enhance their experience by providing solutions.
• Attract new retail and business members and deepen relationships with existing members.
• Prioritize exceptional member service with accuracy and operational excellence, including resolving problems and complaints.
• Support the branch in growing a profitable book of business to meet individual and team goals.
• Build new relationships through community involvement and referrals.
• Promote awareness of service channels through promotions, education, and demos.
• Participate in coaching, mentoring, and training to develop performance.
• Detect and report fraud or irregular activities and ensure compliance with policies and guidelines.
