Job summary

SmithRx is seeking dedicated individuals to join our call center team, delivering top-tier service to our members. Strong communication, empathy, and data entry are essential, especially in a fast-paced healthcare setting.

This role requires a 9-week onsite training and nesting period at our Lehi office, with the initial 3-week class from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm Mountain Time and 100% attendance. Then you’ll transition to assigned shifts, Mon-Fri with rotating weekends/holidays.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in a call center environment.
• Must be located local to Lehi, UT office; onsite work required; hybrid option possible based on performance.
• Proficiency in Windows, MS Office, G-Suite.
• HS Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Active listening and conversational speaking with empathy.
• Ability to multitask.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Passion for helping people.
• Prior experience with Salesforce Service Cloud or Talkdesk or other CRM tools.
• Prior experience with benefits, employer benefits, insurance, prescriptions or pharmacy experience.
• Prior experience resolving complex issues in a call center.

Responsibilities

• Answer inbound calls and make outbound calls to members, physicians, and pharmacies with world-class service.
• Follow-up, resolve, document issues, route inquiries for further investigation, and conduct routine research.
• Educate members about their pharmacy benefits.
• Strive for one-call resolution by becoming an expert in Pharmacy Benefits Management.
• Demonstrate patient-centric mindset and urgency to solve member requests.
• Handle highly sensitive information respecting PII and HIPAA.
