Job summary

Heritage Family Credit Union in Rutland, VT seeks a Contact Center Representative I to be the first point of contact for members, handling inbound and outbound calls and resolving inquiries with a focus on one-call resolution.

You will perform account maintenance, open new accounts, cross-sell products, and maintain compliance with AML/BSA policies while delivering an exceptional member experience over the phone.

Qualifications

• Previous customer/member service experience is required.
• Call center or financial institution experience is preferred.
• Strong communication and multitasking abilities.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the first point of contact for members, answering and resolving inquiries and performing basic account maintenance.
• Identify and prevent fraud, verify member identities, and ensure compliance with credit union policies and regulatory requirements.
• Open new accounts, cross-sell products, meet performance goals, and coordinate with supervisors and team members for smooth operations.
