Position focuses on providing information and high quality member service, greeting members, researching issues, cross selling products, handling online registrations, opening and closing accounts, and assisting with loans and digital services.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist members in a professional manner and provide prompt service.
• Identify members' needs, clarify information, research issues, and offer solutions.
• Cross-sell products and services where appropriate.
• Respond to member inquiries via voicemail, email, and online channels in a timely manner.
• Open or close accounts, verify accounts, and process card and loan related requests.
• Assist with digital services and wire requests.
• Maintain confidentiality and meet personal and team targets.

We are searching for a Member Care Agent. The chosen candidate will become an advocate for our membership and will assist our team in accomplishing all objectives associated with the People Helping People philosophy.

The Member Care Agent must reside within the State of Maine

Position Purpose:

Provide information and member service concerning the credit union and its products and services to credit union members, ensuring the highest quality of member service.

Job Responsibilities:

• Greet and welcome members and visitors to the credit union in a professional manner. Provide prompt, efficient, and accurate service in the processing of transactions.
• Identify members’ needs, clarify information, research every issue, and provide solutions and | or alternatives.
• Listen and understand the members needs and seize opportunities to cross-sell products | services.
• Continuously check member service voice mail, email, secure and electronic channels and reply to these requests in a timely manner.
• Responds to member online registration requests.
• Open | close accounts, verify accounts, process stop payments on share draft accounts, order cards, and answer questions regarding share accounts, share drafts, VISA cards, IRAs, certificates, etc.
• Assist members with basic questions regarding their loans.
• Assist members with digital services.
• Collect the information for incoming and outgoing wire requests.
• Mail, email, or send the loan application or online links to members or prospective members.
• Responsible for researching member inquires to ensure proper follow up and satisfaction.
• May be required to fill in for member service representatives, when needed.
• Ensure that all Credit Union member and team member related business is kept in the strictest confidence.
• Treat all Credit Union members and team members with a positive and cooperative attitude.
• Meet personal | team qualitative and quantitative targets.
