Lakeshore Sport and Fitness in Chicago is seeking a Business Office Customer Service Support Specialist to handle billing questions, account updates, and administrative support with warmth and accuracy.

You will work closely with Front Desk and Managers to resolve issues, post charges, issue refunds, and keep precise records while upholding our people-first service and professional standards.

Qualifications

• Previous customer service, billing, or administrative support experience.
• Familiarity with databases, spreadsheets, or CRM systems is a plus.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Team-oriented and flexible to cover remote or on-site needs.

Responsibilities

• Be the front line of support for member billing questions, payment concerns, and account updates.
• Manage membership changes like freezes, terminations, and upgrades with accuracy and efficiency.
• Support the monthly billing process, including posting charges, issuing refunds, and following up on declined payments.
• Work closely with the Front Desk and Department Managers to resolve account-related issues quickly and kindly.
• Keep accurate records and ensure all work complies with company standards and policies.
• Provide administrative support to the Business Office and help improve systems and workflows.
