Job summary

Pioneer FCU's Nampa Branch is seeking a full-time Teller to handle member transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, and loan payments. You will greet members, provide routine information, and guide them to the right services.

The position emphasizes accurate cash handling, resolving issues within authority, and a commitment to WOW members in every interaction, with a comprehensive benefits package and 401(k) matching.

Qualifications

• Experience: Minimum six months of similar or related experience.
• Education: A high school education or GED.
• Interpersonal Skills: A significant level of trust and diplomacy is required, in addition to normal courtesy and tact.
• Other Skills: This position requires excellent public relations skills, knowledge of Pioneer services and products, organizational skills to ensure the proper recording and dissemination of required information.

Responsibilities

• Receives and processes member financial transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, and loan payments.
• Sells money orders and cashiers checks to members; transfers amounts from member accounts as directed and within credit union policies.
• Balances daily transactions and ensures that cash recycler inventory is correct at closing.
• Welcomes members and provides routine information concerning services and escorts members to appropriate location in the branch to better assist them.
• Resolves problems that are within their authority to resolve and refers problems that are beyond their authority to their supervisor, along with their recommendations.
• Continually searches for ways to WOW members or potential members in all interactions.
