Job summary

Lake Michigan Credit Union is seeking a Personal Banking Advisor to serve as a financial consultant for members, both new and existing. You will cross-sell products, help with new accounts and loans, and build long-term relationships to help members achieve their financial goals.

The role emphasizes excellent service, attention to detail, and strong communication. On-site work with opportunities for growth, weekly pay, and competitive benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• Three to five years of similar or related experience.
• Michigan Resident Producer Credit Insurance License required.
• Must become registered through NMLS and obtain notary certification.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage with members.
• Knowledge of LMCU products and services to provide personalized solutions.

Responsibilities

• Promote strong member interactions with a consultative approach.
• Educate members on LMCU products and cross-sell loans, cards, second mortgages, and other banking services.
• Meet branch goals by achieving sales and customer service targets.
• Resolve conflicts professionally, de-escalate issues, and protect member data.
