Member Assist Cart Attendant – Sam's Club
Base pay range
$16.00/hr - $23.00/hr
Position Summary
We are looking for people who take pride in their work to join our team. You help shape our member’s entire shopping experience by giving them a positive first and last impression. In the member assist – cart attendant role, you are responsible for ensuring members see a well-kept parking lot which includes helping members with their purchases, and ensure there are carts ready and available. You will also assist our members helping them load their vehicles and support creating a great member experience. This means you are constantly on your feet and on the go. Rain or shine, sleet or snow, our members count on you.
Responsibilities
- Maintain a positive attitude by smiling, greeting and thanking members
- Provide exceptional customer service to members across the club as needed, answering any questions they may have
- Maintain a clean, neat, and member-ready area
- Ensure club parking lot and cart availability; assist members with loading items into vehicles and transporting items as needed
- Assist with transactions and payments according to company policies; locate and organize merchandise; zone designated areas; promote company products and services
- Ensure safety and cleanliness by following company policies and conducting safety practices
Qualifications
- Ability to stand for long periods and perform tasks quickly and accurately
- Ability to thrive in fast-paced environments and manage multiple tasks
- Strong customer service mindset and problem-solving skills
