Job summary

Credit Union of Colorado is seeking a dedicated Member Advocate to deliver exceptional member service. You will leverage product knowledge to offer the best financial solutions, including deposits, loans, and digital banking enrollment.

You will build trust with members, maintain accounts, and support branch operations while upholding core values and compliance standards. Notary and Mortgage Loan Originator status may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Mortgage Loan Originator status per SAFE Act must be obtained and maintained.
• Notary Public status must be obtained and maintained.
• Ability to communicate and connect effectively.
• Ability to operate computer applications and business equipment.
• Excellent judgment and discretion in applying policies.

Responsibilities

• Build rapport with members and recommend financial services.
• Open and maintain deposit accounts (checking, savings, CDs, IRAs).
• Assist members with loan applications and next steps.
• Cross-identify products to enhance member experience.
• Handle routine transactions (deposits, withdrawals, transfers, check cashing).
• Educate members on digital banking and enrollment.
• Maintain account information and handle disputes and card issuance.
