Eaton's EPG CHD EP Americasdivision is seeking a Furnace Operator for Melt 2nd Shift in Amarillo. The role ensures proper operation of metal casting in the foundry and supports the melt deck, pouring deck, and utilities.

Required: high school diploma, 6 months in manufacturing, ability to lift 50 pounds, and willingness to work extended hours. Training on safety and equipment is provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 6 months of manufacturing experience preferred.
• United States work authorization without sponsorship.
• Willing to work overtime and weekends if needed.

Responsibilities

• Operate melt, furnace, and pour decks and support mold production.
• Charge furnaces using overhead crane and regulate power.
• Perform temperature/chemical tests and take corrective action.
• Maintain furnaces, ladles, and pre-heaters; use jackhammer when required.
• Monitor control panels and perform recordkeeping.
