Job summary

Johnson & Johnson Robotics and Digital Solutions in Santa Clara, CA, is offering a six-month CO-OP focusing on OTTAVA operations within the Supply Chain. Jan to Jun 2027, on-site only, you will contribute to production operations, data analysis, and project support.

You'll collaborate with Manufacturing, Test, R&D, and Quality teams to design and qualify manufacturing processes for a surgical robotics system.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in an accredited college/university pursuing a Bachelor of Sciences.
• Preferred majors are: Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering
• A minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA is required.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Manufacturing, Test, R&D, Quality Engineering teams (including Production) to design, develop, document, and qualify the manufacturing process for electro-mechanical components and subassemblies of a surgical robotics system.
• Perform gap analysis for manufacturing and test processes.
• Collect, analyze, & report process data.
• Collaborate with external and internal suppliers to support key projects.
• Lead small technical projects and process changes.
• Support local community through the Credo inspired events and activities.
• Will provide direct support to the OTTAVA™ program and reporting directly into OTTAVA™ Process Engineering
