Job summary

Johnson & Johnson is seeking a Software Engineering Co-op to join our Danvers, MA engineering team. The Applied Science and AI group at Abiomed will guide you to build tools for a class III medical device, while you learn and contribute to innovative software solutions.

Responsibilities include data integration, agile development, verification and validation, and cross-team collaboration. This program is ideal for students pursuing CS or biomedical engineering with strong coding skills in

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science or Biomedical Engineering or related programs.
• Familiarity with Linux OS and at least one web UI framework (such as Angular).
• Coding experience in Javascript, C, Lua or Rust.
• Familiarity with basic statistical analysis.
• Self-motivated with attention to detail and good communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office products.

Responsibilities

• Support a productive and innovative team, including working with peers, managers, and different teams.
• Assist in connecting/integrating new data sources into existing architecture.
• Design, develop and test software solutions utilizing Agile methodologies and conforming to established processes.
• Assist in software engineering activities such as algorithm & data analysis, software/system troubleshooting, and supporting documentation.
• Support informal and formal software verification, validation, and integration testing.
