Job summary

IQVIA LLC in Washington, DC is seeking a MedTech Safety Project Lead to provide operational, project coordination, and administrative support to the Clinical Safety team across medical device safety activities.

You will coordinate safety committees (CECs, DSMBs), manage documentation, timelines, and communications, and collaborate with Regulatory Affairs, Quality, Medical Affairs, and project teams to ensure compliance and efficient safety processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing, Life Sciences, Health Sciences, Public Health, Biology, Biomedical Sciences, or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of clinical, healthcare, clinical research, medical device, or patient care experience.
• Strong organizational and time management skills with ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day operational and administrative support to the Clinical Safety team across clinical studies and post-market safety activities.
• Serve as the primary operational coordinator for assigned safety projects and committee activities, ensuring deliverables and timelines are met.
• Assist with management of safety committees (CECs and DSMBs), including meeting materials and documenting outcomes.
• Coordinate safety project tracking, timelines, documentation, meetings, and action follow-up.
• Support safety documentation collection, review, and maintenance in accordance with regulatory requirements.
• Prepare meeting materials, project status reports, and client-facing safety updates and presentations.
• Collaborate with Clinical Operations, Regulatory Affairs, Quality, Medical Affairs, and project teams to ensure timely communication and resolution of safety activities.
• Assist with inspection and audit readiness and ongoing process improvements.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Nursing, Life Sciences, Health Sciences, Public Health, Biology, Biomedical Sciences, or a related field.
