Job summary

Johnson & Johnson's MedTech Quality Systems and Digital Services organization offers a Co-op in Cincinnati, Ohio to work with quality engineers, data scientists, app developers and other teams on software projects, validation activities, and lifecycle management techniques.

As a Co-op you will gain hands-on experience, participate in on-campus activities, and learn to apply software development processes while supporting quality governance and procedures.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in an accredited College/University pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer/Software Engineering or a related field.
• Be in your second year or above in school at the beginning of the co-op term in August 2027 with a graduation date after December 2027.
• GPA of 3.0 or above.
• Authorized to work in the United States during the full duration of the co-op (08/2027 - 12/2027).
• Detail-oriented, highly organized and able to manage multiple tasks.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as on a team.
• Ability to work with other teams and individuals using virtual tools (Microsoft Teams, etc).
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point) and have strong oral and written communication skills.
• Permanently authorized to work in the U.S., must not require sponsorship of an employment visa (e.g., H-1B or green card) at the time of application or in the future. Students currently on CPT, OPT, or STEM OPT usually requires future sponsorship for long term employment and do not meet the requirements for this program unless eligible for an alternative long-term status that does not require company sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Have the opportunity to work at and support J&J MedTech in Cincinnati, Ohio
• Work in MT Quality Systems and Digital Services group.
• Report directly to, and receive assignments from, MedTech QS Digital Strategy and Deployment Lead, while also working with the broader team for additional assignments.
• Participate in and/or lead on-campus activities such as learning committees, volunteer events, and meet and greet luncheons with full time associates.
