Job summary

Lexington Medical, Inc. in Bedford, MA is seeking a Quality Control Technician to inspect medical device components and finished products, ensuring they meet strict quality standards through dimensional and visual inspections.

The position is full-time temporary with potential to convert to a full-time role, working Monday to Friday on the 2nd shift from 12:00 pm to 8:00 pm, onsite at our Bedford facility.

Qualifications

• Formal technical training or equivalent hands-on experience in manufacturing or inspection is preferred.
• Experience in lab, manufacturing, or cleanroom environments.
• Proficiency with precision measurement tools including calipers, micrometers, and comparators.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering blueprints and technical drawings.
• Experience with data reporting and non-conformance reports (NCRs).
• Basic Microsoft Excel proficiency.
• Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to work independently.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Self-motivated with a desire to grow in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform inspection of medical device components and finished products according to documented procedures.
• Perform dimensional and visual inspections using tools such as calipers, micrometers, and comparators.
• Identify and document nonconforming materials per quality procedures.
• Maintain full traceability of products and components.
• Maintain clean and organized work areas in compliance with cleanroom and manufacturing requirements.
• Communicate quality issues and inspection findings to supervisors and relevant departments.
