Job summary

Johnson & Johnson is seeking a Sr. Manager, MedTech Quality Communications to lead the development of quality-related communications for the MedTech Quality Organization in Irvine, CA or New Brunswick, NJ.

You will drive messaging, partner with cross-functional teams, and support executive engagements to protect and enhance the company’s reputation. The role requires a strong background in healthcare/MedTech communications, excellent writing skills, and the ability to manage multiple

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, or related field.
• 8+ years in a communications or PR role, preferably in healthcare/MedTech.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to translate complex scientific concepts into compelling communications.
• Strong project management and change management experience.
• Collaborates effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Ambitious and self-motivated with a passion for healthcare innovation.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development of quality-related communication messaging and materials to help protect and enhance company reputation.
• Collaborate with teams from different businesses, regions, and functions to elevate our quality story and effectively convey important information to key internal and external stakeholders.
• Partner closely and support our MedTech Chief Quality Officer on strategic speaking engagements and external communications.
• Work with global Quality and Communications leaders for day-to-day management and coordination related to quality-related opportunities, issues, milestones, and audits.
• Ensure consistency in communications approach across MedTech and maintain knowledge of all quality communications.
• Monitor the competitive landscape for quality issues and advancements as well as potential risk and policy actions.
• Compete in a fast-paced environment to ensure timely delivery of all communication materials.
