Job summary
LightForce is seeking an experienced Operations leader to build and scale a fully digital, 3D-printed medtech manufacturing organization in Massachusetts. You’ll own strategy, throughput, yield, capacity and costs, partnering with Engineering, Quality, Finance, and Commercial to drive a high-performing team on a fast-scaling platform.
You will lead NPI and design transfer, build a lean operating system, and establish an automation roadmap while ensuring FDA/ISO25 compliance.
Qualifications
- 12+ years of progressive manufacturing and ops leadership in FDA-regulated medical devices.
- Experience scaling manufacturing for high-volume, multi-shift environments.
- Deep knowledge of ISO 13485, FDA QSR, design transfer, and process validation.
- Lean manufacturing, automation, and capital budgeting experience.
- Bachelor's degree; technical degree preferred.
Responsibilities
- Set multi-year manufacturing strategy and capacity plan.
- Own throughput, yield, cost, and on-time delivery.
- Build lean ops and lead a high-performing team.
- Lead NPI/design transfer for new products.
- Partner with Quality, Supply Chain and Finance on budgets.
