Job summary

Halifax Health in Daytona Beach, FL seeks an Integrated Healthcare Technology Technician to provide first-tier support for hardware, software, and clinical IT systems. You will collaborate with Support Analysts, assist in deployment, and document procedures daily.

You''ll troubleshoot, calibrate, and maintain clinical equipment, ensure regulatory compliance (HIPAA, FDA), and support system integrations between HIS/EMR and hospital applications with healthcare staff.

Qualifications

Associate's degree in IT, biomedical engineering, clinical engineering, or related field.
2–3 years of experience in a healthcare IT or clinical engineering role.
Experience with hospital information systems (HIS) and electronic medical records (EMR).

Responsibilities

Provide first-tier IT and clinical engineering support for hardware, software, and networking.
Troubleshoot and resolve hardware/software issues across clinical and IT systems.
Assist with system configurations, updates, and installations of IT infrastructure.
Perform routine preventive maintenance and calibration of clinical equipment.
Collaborate with IT and clinical staff to ensure seamless data exchange between medical devices and HIS/EMR.
