Job summary

BD in Sandy, Utah is seeking a hands-on Manufacturing Associate to operate and monitor high-speed automated equipment in a fast-paced production environment. You will perform setup/changeovers, monitor quality, and support continuous improvement while following BD safety and quality standards.

This role requires attention to detail, ability to work with automated systems, and a commitment to producing high‑quality products in a safe, efficient manner.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent is preferred.
• Effective written and oral communication skills (English), basic math skills, and interpersonal skills.
• One to two years of previous manufacturing/production experience is preferred.
• Must also have good dexterity and coordination.

Responsibilities

• Operates multiple processes on high speed automated or semi- automated manufacturing equipment.
• Must certify on multiple processes.
• May perform manual manufacturing operations such as manual packing.
• Monitors product quality in accordance with task instructions.
• Conducts on-the-job training for other associates.
• Works as a member of a self-directed work team.
• Participates in team meetings and continuous improvement activities.
