Job summary

UFP Technologies is seeking an Engineering Intern to gain hands-on experience across the full product lifecycle, from design and prototyping to manufacturing and testing, mentored by experienced engineers in a collaborative setting.

Responsibilities include rotating through key areas of the engineering process, contributing to reports and data collection, and participating in product/process design discussions. On-site internship with a structured schedule and pay range.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Biomedical Engineering.
• Familiarity with CAD software (SolidWorks preferred).
• Strong computer skills (Word and Excel).
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Detail-oriented and eager to learn.
• Previous internship or co-op experience is a plus.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. (no visa sponsorship available).

Responsibilities

• Rotate through engineering process areas including design, prototyping, manufacturing, and testing.
• Work with a mentor to set goals and participate in product and process design discussions.
• Contribute to technical reports, data collection, and process improvements.
