Job summary

UFP Technologies, Grand Rapids, MI, is seeking an Engineering Intern to gain hands-on experience across the product lifecycle. You’ll work on design, prototyping, manufacturing and testing, under the guidance of experienced engineers in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

You’ll rotate through core engineering processes, interact with customers, manage program tasks, and contribute to design discussions, data collection and process improvements.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Biomedical Engineering from an accredited university.
• Familiarity with CAD software (SolidWorks preferred).
• Strong computer skills, including Word and Excel.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Detail-oriented and eager to learn.
• Previous internship or co‑op experience is a plus.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. (no visa sponsorship available).
