Job summary

UFP MedTech is seeking an Engineering Intern in Chicopee, MA. You will gain hands-on experience across the entire product lifecycle—from design and prototyping to manufacturing and testing—mentored by experienced engineers in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

You’ll rotate through key areas, including Customer Interaction, Program Management, Design & Fabrication, and Measurement & Analysis, and contribute to technical reports, data collection, and process improvements.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Biomedical Engineering from an accredited university.
• Familiarity with CAD software (SolidWorks preferred).
• Strong computer skills, including Word and Excel.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Detail-oriented and eager to learn.
• Previous internship or co-op experience is a plus.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. (no visa sponsorship available).

Responsibilities

• You’ll gain hands-on experience across the product lifecycle—from design and prototyping to manufacturing and testing.
