Job summary

Johnson & Johnson MedTech Surgery is seeking a Co-op in the WC&H and Biosurgery platforms, based in Raritan, NJ. You will support New Product Development, process development, and equipment qualification while gaining end-to-end manufacturing exposure.

The role offers mentoring, structured assignments, and housing assistance, with collaboration across engineering teams and external suppliers for key projects.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in an accredited college/university.
• Preferred majors are: Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Material Science and Engineering, and Polymer Science and Engineering.
• A minimum GPA of 3.0 is required.
• Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the US.
• Must have transportation to and from work daily.
• Completion of at least a first year of undergraduate study.
• Demonstrated leadership is preferred.
• Must balance multiple projects and maintain organization.
• Must work both independently and in a team.
• Must have good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Must be proficient with Microsoft Office including Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Excel.

Responsibilities

• Write and execute process development protocols and reports.
• Organize and submit process development samples for testing.
• Collect, analyze, & report process data.
• Collaborate with external suppliers to support key projects.
• Lead small technical projects and process changes.
• Support local community through Credo-inspired events and activities.
