A dedicated assisted living facility is seeking a Med-tech for the 2nd shift. The ideal candidate will administer medications, monitor health statuses, and assist residents with daily activities. Candidates must have certification as a Med-tech and preferably some experience in an assisted living setting. Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Med-tech to join our assisted living team for the 2nd shift. Responsibilities

• Assist with medications to residents in accordance with established protocols and care plans.

• Assist residents with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, meal assistance, and mobility support.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of resident care activities and medication administration.
• Collaborate with nursing staff and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for residents.
• Uphold the principles of dignity, privacy, and respect while interacting with residents and their families.
• Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations and facility policies.

Qualifications

• Certification as a Medication Technician/Med-tech, or equivalent.
• Previous experience in an assisted living or similar healthcare setting is preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently.
• Strong observational and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to handle emergency situations calmly and efficiently.
