Job summary

MountainView Regional Medical Center in Las Cruces, NM, seeks a Registered Nurse to provide patient-centered care using the nursing process, coordinating with physicians and the care team to ensure quality outcomes.

Qualifications

• 0-2 years clinical nursing experience required

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and deliver high-quality, patient-centered care according to nursing process
• Document findings and report changes in patient condition to care team
• Administer medications and monitor for side effects
• Assist physicians during procedures within documented competency
• Develop and evaluate individualized care plans with the team
• Respond to emergencies and participate in CPR/code team activities
• Educate patients and families on conditions and post-discharge care
• Adhere to infection control protocols and safety standards
• Operate medical equipment as needed for patient care
• Participate in audits and quality improvement initiatives
