Amentum is a global leader in advanced engineering and innovative technology solutions. The Medium Voltage Foreman will lead a team of electricians on a US Navy program on Diego Garcia, supervising installation, maintenance and repair of MV systems, and ensuring safety and compliance.

The role requires an apprenticeship in the electrician trade, MV experience, and proven leadership, with travel and deployment readiness to remote locations.

Qualifications

• Three-year apprenticeship completed in electrician trade or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Medium Voltage Electrician prior to foreman role.
• Proven leadership experience managing teams in MV electrical operations.
• Strong knowledge of MV electrical systems, including installation, testing, troubleshooting, and maintenance.
• Familiarity with industry-standard safety procedures, regulations and electrical codes for MV systems.
• Must be able to speak, read, and comprehend English to perform contract requirements.

Responsibilities

• Supervising, coordinating, and participating in installation, maintenance, testing, and repair of MV electrical systems.
• Leading a team of MV electricians in maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Plan and assign daily tasks, ensuring safety, efficiency, and timely project execution.
• Review wiring diagrams, blueprints, and specifications for compliance.
• Ensure adherence to safety protocols and procedures for MV installations and repairs.
• Prepare and maintain reports and records of work progress, inspections, and maintenance schedules.
• Communicate with supervisors, team members, and stakeholders to address technical or safety concerns.
• Provide mentorship and leadership to enhance team skills and efficiency.
