Job summary

ABB's Pinetops, NC manufacturing facility seeks an assembler to support production targets by reading diagrams and assembling semi-finished or final products on the shop floor. You will perform manual assembly with light tools and contribute to quality testing and packaging where required.

Responsibilities include maintaining clean work areas, following SOPs, and adhering to safety guidelines; lifting up to 40 lbs and PPE usage are required. This is an onsite role at the Pinetops facility.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Legal authorization to work in the US is required.
• Knowledge and use of tools – tape measure, calipers, grinders, or other hand tools, as needed.
• Ability to safely use a ladder while performing the job, as needed.
• Ability to lift, push and pull up to 40lbs.

Responsibilities

• Conduct all types of assembly work to produce semi-finished or final products/systems/panels.
• Perform work manually or by using light hand tools.
• Carry out regular quality testing as part of a defined production process.
• Operate within standard operating procedures and maintain a clean work area.
• Pack products when integrated with production lines.
