Job summary

PACS Group is seeking a dedicated Medication Technician to join our Health Services team. The role requires administering medications, maintaining patient records, and ensuring safety in a fast-paced environment.

Hours include weekends, with a pay range of $21-$23 per hour depending on experience. A valid HCA/CNA license is required, along with high school equivalency. Join us to contribute to high-quality post-acute care across our nationwide facilities.

Qualifications

• Must possess a high school diploma or its equivalent.
• Active HCA/CNA license or certification required.
• Must be a licensed Medication Aide per state requirements.

Responsibilities

• Follow facility policies for administering medications to residents.
• Note and report medication administration errors.
• Assist in developing procedures to reduce medication errors.
• Complete forms, charts, and reports as required.
• Maintain professional relationships with Health Services staff and pharmacists.
• Attend and cooperate with facility surveys and QA programs.
• Accurately prepare, administer, and document oral/topical medications as ordered.
• Verify medication brought by new residents is identified by the physician or facility pharmacy.
• Ensure proper labeling and charting of medications.
