IVY PARK AT BURBANK is hosting a Hiring Event in Burbank for a Medication Technician. No prior experience required; on-site training provided. Shifts include AM, PM, and NOC with part-time and full-time options; pay ranges from $18.00 to $19.00 per hour.

Join us at 2721 Willow Street, Burbank CA 91505 between 11am and 3pm. The role involves supervising and assisting with medication administration, resident care, and coordinating with pharmacy and physicians, in a supportive senior living

Qualifications

• Requires one year of experience assisting with medication in a RCFE or similar setting.
• Completion of training/certification may be required per state regulations.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent; LVN license is a plus.
• Ability to operate MS Office programs (Word, Excel, etc.).
• Strong written and verbal communication with residents, families, and staff.
• Must pass Criminal Background check and Health Screening tests (TB, etc.).
• COVID-19 or other infection control measures may be required per regulatory guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and distribute medication to residents.
• Coordinate medication services with residents, pharmacy, and physician.
• Order and track medication changes, refills, and deliveries with pharmacies.
• Maintain confidential resident medication and care records.
• Maintain a safe environment for staff, residents, and guests; follow safety standards.
• Encourage teamwork and cooperative interactions with coworkers.
