Job summary

Oakmont Senior Living is seeking a Medication Technician to prepare and distribute medications for residents at Ivy Park in Burbank, CA. This role coordinates with pharmacies and physicians, tracks medication changes, and maintains confidential records.

Training will be provided and no prior medication assistance experience is required. The position supports a team-oriented environment with opportunities for growth and excellent benefits.

Qualifications

• Prefer one year of experience assisting with medication in RCFE.
• Completion of training/certification may be required by state regulation.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent; LVN is a plus.
• Must be able to operate MS Office (Word, Excel).
• Excellent customer service skills and communication with residents and families.
• Must pass a Criminal Background check and Health Screening tests (TB).

Responsibilities

• Prepare and distribute medication to residents.
• Coordinate medication services with the resident, pharmacy, and physician.
• Order and track medication changes, refills, and deliveries with pharmacies.
• Maintain accurate, complete, and confidential resident medication and care records.
• Maintain a safe and secure environment for staff, residents, and guests.
• Encourage teamwork through cooperative interactions with staff and other departments.
