Job summary

The Medication Technician at Oakmont Management Group is responsible for supervising and assisting in the administration of medications to residents as ordered and in accordance with established nursing standards, policies, and practices of the company.

In addition, the Medication Technician provides direct personal care, encourages residents to participate in activities, and works with housekeeping and maintenance staff to support the company's mission, values, and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Experience in medication administration in a care facility may be required.
• Strong communication with residents, families, and healthcare staff.
• Ability to maintain accurate, confidential records and comply with safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and distribute medication to residents.
• Coordinate medication services with residents, pharmacies, and physicians.
• Order and track medication changes, refills, and deliveries.
• Maintain accurate and confidential resident medication records.
• Maintain a safe environment and encourage teamwork across departments.
