Job summary

Oakmont of Orange is part of Oakmont Senior Living, a premier senior living community. The Medication Technician role involves supervising and assisting in the administration of medications to residents, and providing direct personal care in a compassionate team environment.

Responsibilities include preparing medications, coordinating with pharmacies and physicians, managing records, and promoting safety and resident participation in activities.

Qualifications

• One (1) year of experience assisting with medication is preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent; LVN is a plus.
• Ability to operate MS Office programs (Word, Excel) and communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and distribute medication to residents.
• Coordinate medication services with residents, pharmacy, and physicians.
• Order and track medication changes, refills, and deliveries with pharmacies.
• Maintain accurate, confidential resident medication and care records.
• Maintain a safe environment following established safety standards.
• Encourage teamwork across departments.
