Job summary

Lassen House - Red Bluff, CA is seeking a Medication Technician to ensure safe delivery of medications and support elder residents according to state law and company policies.

You will lead Care Partners on the shift, participate in hiring and training, and collaborate with the Administrator to schedule and coordinate patient care. This role emphasizes compassion, teamwork, and compliance with regulations.

Qualifications

• Pass medication and assist with self-administration as required by state law.
• Lead and support Care Partners on the shift with kindness, accountability and collaboration.
• Meet health requirements as specified by state and/or federal regulations.
• Pass a criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Pass medication and assist with self-administration as required by state law.
• Guide and support the Med Techs on their shift.
• Lead Care Partners on shift as a role model of kindness and collaboration.
• Interview new Care Partners and Med Techs as needed.
• Provide orientation and training for Care Partners and Med Techs.
• Coach team members in collaboration with the Administrator.
• Collaborate with RCC and Administrator for scheduling.
• Supervise storage, distribution, and discontinuation of residents’ medication.
