Belmont Village Senior Living is seeking a Medication Technician for part-time shifts, including 7p-7a or 7a-5p with every other weekend and PRN. You will assist residents in Assisted Living and Memory Care with medications, monitor responses, and keep accurate medical records under a licensed nurse.

Ideal candidates have at least 6 months caregiving experience in a licensed setting, a valid CNA or Medication Technician certification, and strong English communication.

Qualifikationen

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 6 months experience as a Caregiver in a licensed community or facility.
• C.N.A. License in states where required.
• Current Medication Technician or Aide Certification in states where required.
• Must be able to communicate clearly in verbal and written English.
• Intermediate computer and mobile device skills.
• Professional, pleasant and team oriented attitude.
• Consistent and reliable attendance is essential for Belmont Village employees to ensure the successful operation of the community.

Aufgaben

• Administer Medications and Provide Personal Care: Follow physician’s orders and community guidelines for administering routine medications and providing assistance with ADL care as needed
• Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate medical records and report any reactions or medication refusals to the licensed nurse.
• Vital Sign Monitoring: Take resident vital signs and observe any responses or side effects.
• Shift Communication: Attend shift meetings and update nursing staff on resident conditions.
• Customer Satisfaction: Work collaboratively with a team to ensure the highest quality care and services are provided resulting in overall customer satisfaction
• Safety and Compliance: Adhere to all resident rights, state, and federal regulations, including infection control, fire safety, and hazardous materials guidelines.
