Job summary

Belmont Village Senior Living is seeking a part-time Medication Technician to assist residents with daily medications and ADL tasks in our Assisted Living and Memory Care community. You will support licensed nurses, document diligently, and monitor residents’ responses to medications, while maintaining empathy and hospitality.

The role emphasizes teamwork, reliable attendance, and adherence to safety and regulatory guidelines.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 6 months experience as a Caregiver in a licensed community or facility.
• C.N.A. license in states where required.
• Current Medication Technician or Aide Certification in states where required.
• Must communicate clearly in verbal and written English.
• Intermediate computer and mobile device skills.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications following physician’s orders and provide ADL care as needed.
• Maintain accurate medical records and report reactions or refusals to the licensed nurse.
• Take resident vital signs and monitor responses or side effects.
• Attend shift meetings and update nursing staff on resident conditions.
• Collaborate with the team to ensure high-quality care and customer satisfaction.
• Adhere to resident rights and safety regulations, including infection control and fire safety.
