Spring Arbor Senior Living - Albemarle, NC is hiring a Medication Assistant to support residents with medication administration and daily care under supervision. The role emphasizes compassionate care, teamwork with the Resident Care Director, and attention to safety and guidelines.

Ideal candidates bring 1+ year of senior care experience, current Medication Training certification, and a willingness to pass a background check. CNA/NA licensure and CPR/First Aid are a plus.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years of age.
• 1+ year of experience with senior adults preferred.
• Current Medication Training certification.
• Ability to pass a criminal background screening; willingness to comply with a drug-free workplace policy.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with medications as allowed under State guidelines.
• Help residents with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, transfers, and mobility.
• Communicate with the Resident Services team to ensure continuity of care.
• Participate in and help lead resident activities.
• Deliver friendly, courteous service with resident satisfaction as a top priority.

Spring Arbor of Albemarle is looking for a Medication Assistant to support our Assisted Living residents with medication administration and daily care, under the guidance of our Resident Care Director. What You'll Do

• Approach every encounter with residents, associates, and visitors in a friendly, service-oriented way
• Assist residents with medications as allowed under State guidelines
• Help residents with daily living activities — bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, bed linens, positioning, transfers, mobility, and incontinence care
• Communicate closely with the Resident Services team to ensure continuity of care
• Participate in and help lead resident activities
• Deliver friendly, courteous service with resident satisfaction as a top priority

What You Bring

• At least 18 years of age
• 1+ year of experience with senior adults highly preferred
• Current Medication Training certification
• Ability to pass a criminal background screeningWillingness to comply with our drug-free workplace policy

Nice to Have

• CNA or NA license/certification, in good standing (state-dependent)
• CPR and First Aid certification (preferred or as required by your state)
• Experience with computerized resident documentation systems
