Spring Arbor of Anderson, part of Allegro Living, LLC, is hiring a Medication Assistant to support seniors in our Anderson, South Carolina community. Shifts are from 2PM–10PM and 10PM–6AM with same-day pay.

The role involves medication administration and daily care under the Resident Care Director, in a team-focused environment. Ideal candidates are at least 18, with 1+ year experience with seniors and a current Medication Training certification.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• 1+ year of experience with senior adults preferred.
• Current Medication Training certification.
• Ability to pass a criminal background screening.
• Willingness to comply with our drug-free workplace policy.

Responsibilities

• Approach every encounter with residents, associates, and visitors in a friendly, service-oriented way
• Assist residents with medications as allowed under State guidelines
• Help residents with daily living activities — bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, bed linens, positioning, transfers, mobility, and incontinence care
• Communicate closely with the Resident Services team to ensure continuity of care
• Participate in and help lead resident activities
• Deliver friendly, courteous service with resident satisfaction as a top priority

Spring Arbor of Anderson is looking for a Medication Assistant to support our Assisted Living residents with medication administration and daily care, under the guidance of our Resident Care Director. What You'll Do

What You Bring

• At least 18 years of age
• 1+ year of experience with senior adults highly preferred
• Current Medication Training certification
• Ability to pass a criminal background screening
• Willingness to comply with our drug-free workplace policy

Nice to Have

• CNA or NA license/certification, in good standing (state-dependent)
• CPR and First Aid certification (preferred or as required by your state)
• Experience with computerized resident documentation systems
