Job summary

The Preston of Rockville, operated by Kisco Senior Living, is hiring a Medication Technician to administer resident medications or assist with self-administration. This full-time role runs 7am to 3pm and offers an hourly pay range of $23.00–$24.00 depending on experience.

Responsibilities include observing residents, coordinating with care teams, ensuring accurate medication handling, and supporting wellness programs while promoting dignity and independence for residents.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or meet state requirements.
• Have current First Aid and CPR certification.
• Have completed required medication assistance training/certification.

Responsibilities

• Administer resident medications or assist with self-administration.
• Observe changes in resident condition and report to proper care leaders.
• Provide medication setup, verify orders, and document appropriately.
• Track medications, re-order as needed, and log administration.
• Assist with daily living activities while promoting independence.
• Work as part of the care team and maintain professional appearance.
